SPECIAL COMMENTS FROM THIS BUSINESS
Picanha Restaurant serves up traditional Brazilian style churrascaria in beautifully decorated locations. We serve only the finest meats.
Our delectable hot food buffet features navy beans, sausage, steamed vegetables, rice, and mashed potatoes. From simple to exotic there is something for every taste. Our Salad Bar features over 30 Brazilian and American items for you to enjoy.
In the churrasco tradition, gauchos, Brazilian cowboys, barbeque marinated beef, pork, and poultry on long skewers over an open-fire pit. In the churrascaria culinary style, diners use a little wooden indicator with green on one end and redon the other to start and stop continuous service. At Picanha you'll see a graceful dance of waiters bringing swords laden with meat directly to your table for as long as you keep the indicator on the green, or go, cycle
The skewered meat is carved right onto your plate, piping hot from the open fire grill. Among the many fine cuts of meat is the Filet Mignon, Top Sirloin (Espeta), Sirloin Tip (Maminha), Pork Loin, Pork Ribs, Sausage, Lamb (Cordero), Chicken wrapped in Bacon, Chicken Wings and Chicken Drumsticks.
Overall, this is a great place. The steak was fantastic, and they just kept on bringing it. The buffet was interesting for what it's worth; I've also been trying many different Brazilian restaurants in California and even traveled to Brazil. Picanha's food is as close as you get to Brazil, I would definitely return. It's a great value and experience.
Our office went here for lunch and I was very excited about eating here. The food was decent, I really liked the pesto rice and the tabbouleh from the salad bar. And the meat was good too. The only thing I didn't like was that there were not enough people coming around serving meat, so we'd get a tiny piece and wait before getting another. The meat was also very rare and had a lot of fat and scraps. However, when we asked for well done meat they brought us an abundance which i really appreciated. It showed me that they care about their guests and that they enjoy their meal. The passion fruit mousse dessert was very good! The staff that served us was very friendly as well! It was overall a great experience as by the end we got great meat and left full and with laughs:) (it's also not too crowded at the lunch hour)
